Your first accomondation Welcome to Germany! Our company apartment is waiting for you. We will provide you with accommodation during your training and when you are working at our clients' offices. Should you decide to settle in for a permanent position and find you down place; we can assist with that as well.
List Item 1Convenient ways to explore Germany Germany is well known throughout the world as a country of cars. But you can easily travel by bus, train or plane with Germany and Europe. Our Werl office is only minutes away from the translation and close to Dortmund and Paderborn airports.
List Item 2Money and banking While many places accept Credit Cards it will more convenient to have a local bank account to get an ATM card and paying bills or transfer money. We will help you to open an account, get an ATM and credit card, and online banking.
List Item 3Healthcare Germany has a world class healthcare system, and almost everybody living here is covered by the government supported healthcare system. We will enroll you with the healthcare system and get you your insurance card. Or, if you currently have insurance, we will advise you how to use your current health insurance in Germany.
List Item 4Social Insurance Germany has a well established statutory social insurance system that includes unemployment insurance, health insurance, and occupational accidental insurance. Once you work in Germany and become automatically enrolled you will benefit as a foreigner from this social insurance system same as the locals. Contributions to pension funds and claims can be transferred within the EU or can be reimbursed when leaving Germany.
Taxes in Germany The payroll tax is probably the most important tax for jobholders in Germany. The company withholds the income tax from your monthly pay and end of the year you should file an income tax declaration that usually lets you claim back some of these taxes. Double taxation agreements with almost all countries ensure that you will not pay income double. While we are not allowed to provide tax consulting services, we will be able to help with the process.
Activity & Clubs Germans are very active during their leisure time as well. Most are a member of social or sports clubs: You will be surprised how many different clubs there are, not only limited to sports but as well covering educational, environmental, interest and charitable causes. These are nonprofit organizations and open to everybody. Perhaps you would like to get involved too?
Schools and child care Learning, having fun and spending time with peers - your children are in good hands in Germany's preschools and schools. Germany provides a world-class education from very early age to university level and usually, education is free.
